Membership plans
We currently offer two recurring Helper memberships:
- Standard — £9.99 per month. For casual helpers earning extra income.
- Pro — £19.99 per month. For tradespeople building a local business.

Billing process
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in GBP via our payments provider (Stripe). Your first charge is taken at sign-up; subsequent charges are taken on the same day of the following month. UK VAT is calculated and shown at checkout where applicable.
Monthly recurring payments
Your membership automatically renews each month using the payment method you provided, until you cancel. You will receive a receipt by email after every successful payment.
Upgrade and downgrade
You can change between Standard and Pro at any time from the billing portal. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep the higher-tier features until then.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your membership remains active until the end of the current paid period; we don't bill you again after that. Cancelling is not the same as deleting your account.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry over the following days. Your membership stays active during the retry window. If all retries fail, your membership is paused and Pro/Standard features (including badges and priority placement) are removed until payment is updated.
Refund policy
We don't generally offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact billing@findahand.co.uk within 14 days and we'll review your case. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Changes to these terms
If we change prices or terms we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you don't agree.
