Terms of Service — Find A Hand

1. About these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and Find A Hand. By creating an account, posting a job, or applying to a job, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Find A Hand is

Find A Hand is a community marketplace that connects people who need everyday help ("Posters") with people willing to do that work ("Helpers"). We are not a party to any agreement made between Posters and Helpers and we do not employ Helpers. Helpers are independent and responsible for the work they accept.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a binding contract. Keep your account details accurate and your password secret. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

4. Posting & accepting jobs

Posters must describe jobs honestly, including location, budget and timing. Helpers should only apply to jobs they are competent to carry out safely and legally. Both parties agree to communicate respectfully and to confirm completion through the in-app flow.

5. Payments

Find A Hand is a marketplace. Posters pay Helpers directly after a job is completed — please agree the price up front and confirm completion in the app. Sharing payment links or bank details in chat is not permitted for your safety. Worker membership is billed via our payment provider on a recurring basis until cancelled.

6. Conduct

Do not use Find A Hand to harass anyone, post illegal or unsafe work, impersonate others, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass safety features. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Find A Hand is not liable for the acts or omissions of Posters or Helpers, or for the quality, safety or legality of jobs arranged through the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use of Find A Hand after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
